PRAXINOSCOPE

Let us introduce you one of our favourite visual toys; the Praxinoscope. Its structure of mirrors and classic film slides enchant children and grown-ups alike. If you turn the wheel with the appropriate speed, the film strips of 12 individual pictures will turn into a short animated film. This fascinating machine was invented by the French pioneer of cinematography, Emil Reynaud, in 1877. Although the technical aspect of movie making has soared high since then, people still admire the praxinoscope regardless of age. Size: 28x34 cm. The praxinoscope comes in an exclusive, handmade round shape box, and with 8 different movies.
